These cards are perfect for children learning to blend individual sounds into words. With CVC, CCVC and CVCC words included in this bundle, they're ideal for teaching students how map words by connecting speech sounds (phonemes) to letters or combination of letters (graphemes).

How It Works

Students:

✔ Identify and isolate individual sounds using picture clues
✔ Build words using movable letters or write-in responses
✔ Blend sounds together to read the completed word

This process builds phoneme–grapheme connections and supports accurate decoding.

They can build the words with magnetic letters or laminate the cards to write on to then blend the sounds together to read aloud.

Your students can use our recording sheets to write down each word then use our answer sheet to check their answers independently. Using the recording sheet also allow you to check their progress in identifying and isolating individual sounds.
