Your students can show their understanding of different 3D shapes during this easy to prep 3D Shape Draw The Room activity!
Choose from a range of different shape cards (clip art/real world examples + words), add a recording sheet then ask your class to record all the shapes they can find as they move around the room. Children either have to draw the 3D shape showing they can accurately model each shape. Or use the Find Me The Shape recording sheets instead where children have to choose between three choices to match the 3D shape on the display cards.
Task can be used for assessment purposes as each child works individually on their drawings/worksheet.
Don't want everyone moving around? Simple - just use the activity at your math centers instead.
