FAQs
All of our resources are original digital products created by ClassroomHQ — designed with real classrooms in mind, by a teacher who spent years making resources she couldn't find anywhere else. If you can't find the answer you need below, please get in touch at support@classroomHQ.com and we'll be happy to help.
Ordering & Delivery
How will I receive my purchase?
All resources are delivered digitally. You will receive an email shortly after purchase with a download link. Please check your spam, junk, and trash folders if it doesn't arrive in your inbox. Some school email accounts have security restrictions that may block download links — if this happens, please contact us at support@classroomHQ.com and we'll send your file directly.
How long will I have access to my file?
You will have access to your resource for the lifetime of the product. Any updates we make to the resource will also be available to you at no extra cost. We recommend downloading and saving your file to your device as soon as possible after purchase, as we reserve the right to discontinue or remove products from our store at any time.
For peace of mind, we also suggest saving a backup copy to your own personal cloud storage — such as Google Drive or Dropbox — so you always have access to your purchase regardless of any future changes to our store.
To stay informed of updates and new releases, follow us on Instagram or subscribe to our newsletter, and add support@classroomHQ.com to your safe sender list.
How many times can I download the file?
As many times as you need using the link provided — but please note the download link is for your personal use only and cannot be shared with anyone else.
Do you print and post resources?
No — all resources are digital downloads only. The upside? You can print them immediately after purchase and get started straight away!
Do you take custom orders?
Custom orders are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on availability. Please don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss what you need.
Printing
What paper should I use?
White digital paper works best for most resources. For greater durability — especially for classroom displays — we recommend printing on white cardstock.
Should I print at home or use a print shop?
Either works well. If you prefer to use a commercial printer such as Officeworks, Staples, or Office Depot, you'll find a print permission on the last page of every resource.
Please note that printed colours may vary between monitors, printers, and paper types. ClassroomHQ is not responsible for colour variations, and refunds or design revisions cannot be offered on this basis given the many variables involved in home and commercial printing.
Editing & File Types
Can I edit the resources?
Most of our classroom décor is editable, and some literacy and maths resources can be edited too — always check the product description before purchasing, or feel free to message us if you're unsure.
What editable means: you can change the text, fonts, and sometimes the size of elements. Editable does not include colour changes.
Files are created in English; resources can only be typeset in another language where the product description specifically states this.
Please note that clip art, illustrations, and background designs created by ClassroomHQ cannot be used to create products for sale.
Why do the fonts look different when I open the file?
Our editable resources are PowerPoint files with fonts saved into the file. You'll need an up-to-date version of Microsoft PowerPoint for this to work correctly. If fonts appear misaligned on opening, this usually means your version of PowerPoint doesn't support the saved functionality, or your school server is restricting it.
All text in our editable files can be changed to any font of your choice. Any saved fonts are included for demonstration purposes to show how the resource might look — they are not a guaranteed feature across all systems.
Can I use PowerPoint files in Google Slides or Docs?
Yes, you can open PowerPoint files in Google Slides, but some PowerPoint-specific functionality — including saved fonts — won't carry across, as Google does not currently support font importing. Saved fonts will be substituted automatically, but this won't affect your ability to use or edit the file. Please also note that very large files may not open in Google.
Where can I find the fonts used in your resources?
All fonts are credited on the last page of each file.
Troubleshooting
My PDF is asking for a password. What do I do?
Some of our PDFs are password-protected to prevent editing (not printing). If your PDF reader is prompting for a password, it's recognising that a password exists but can't distinguish that it only restricts editing.
To resolve this: download and save the file to your device first, then open it using Adobe Reader (free to download). Install Adobe, restart your computer, and reopen the saved file. Do not try to open the file directly from your browser.
Black boxes are appearing when I print my PDF. How do I fix this?
This is a known issue with outdated versions of Adobe Reader. Update your PDF reader, restart your computer to apply the update, then print a single test page to confirm it's resolved. Always print from your downloaded saved copy rather than from the browser preview — the boxes sometimes appear in the browser preview but not in the saved file.
Licence & Copyright
How can I use these resources?
Your purchase covers single-classroom or homeschool use. You may print copies for your own students, but resources may not be shared with colleagues, uploaded online in any form, or used for commercial purposes. If additional teachers at your school would like to use a resource, an additional licence should be purchased.
For school-wide or multi-user licences, please contact us at support@classroomHQ.com — we're happy to work something out.
